Alpha Dogs Never Go Hungry

Chester the Alpha Dog always surprises me in his ability to be an absolute opportunist. For a dog that often moves at the pace of a sloth he knows when  to move how to move and where to move.

All of these things are linked and will only bare positive results if there is the right motivation that proceeds them.

Chester loves his food and never ceases to lack motivation in getting it. A lot us can learn from this. How often do we as people find ourselves taking action that is lack luster, half paced or even just busy work.

Why?

This is often because we don't have the backing of what we truly want behind the action. People can lose sight of vision or even on a smaller scale the goals which they are wanting to achieve.

If like Chester you stay 100% focussed on what you want you will have enough fuel for the fire to make your actions effective and the right direction so that your efforts are not placed in the wrong things.

So put yourself in Chesters place and think what is my vision or figuritively speaking what is the food that I want.

Stay Connected and Inspired.

Barking up the Wrong Tree

A lot can be learned from the waqy Chester uses his voice and in many instances how he doesn't use his voice.

Dogs and people alike communicate verbally but that isn't to say that how we use our voices effectively or for the right reasons.

Chester has learned that constant barking isn't the way to get his pack of Ruby, Coca, and Beyonce to listen. Alpha Dog's like Chester know that actions speak louder than words and in fact constant barking like overactive one way communication will evventually be ignored.

First of all Chester does not have a booming howl of a German Shepherd or the sharp yap of a Cattle dog nor the growl of an American Staffy, so he uses his voice sparingly and gets attention with every bark he makes.

Chester uses his voice to reinforce the actions he is taking which for his pack shows consistency, integrity and inteeligence.

Chester knows
"He who barks much says nothing" so when communicating he uses positive words backed with helping actions. The result of this is his words have increased value and impact on the pack.

This can be seen in effect when getting the attention of the pack when a stranger approaches the house. The pack knows to follow Chester's lead because they know he does not have empty words.
